What fun! A kind lady (sorry I have deleted the email so don't remember who) from one of the Wishblade groups I belong to sent me links to download paper lace files. This is the first one I have used.
I cut it out on deep red cardstock. Inked one side using Encore gold ink which does not have to be embossed to be permanent. Then I folded every other cut back and wove the pieces together where they overlapped the next petal.
Haven't made my card yet but wanted to show how pretty it is. It would be pretty with double sided paper too. Just think of the possibilities
