Wow I'm blown away

Look my counter is over 11200. So many in the past few days with hits coming from all over the world. I would like to thank my regular viewers and all the new ones. I hope you find something interesting or useful during your visit.

In any event, I think this calls for some blog candy: I'll pull some things together and post later.
Leave me a comment telling me about your favourite seasonal tradition and be entered into a draw. I'll draw the lucky winner's name on Friday evening so you still have a little time to add your comment.

Hmmm so many traditions;
Well there is the first highlight of the season which is our annual Hoekstra-Rollins Gingerbread House Extravaganza!
Secondly there is the visit with SinterKlass. Then there is the drive or walk through Pinafore Park.Oh of course gathering with friends. The treck to Ottawa to see my parents. Beavertails at the Byward Market. Our annual family games night...........and the list goes on and on; we're a bunch of traditionalists in this household!

Don't know if is a family tradition, but we get together with my brother and his family taking turns cooking supper. So this year it is at his house. And also daughter-in-law is cooking for our Christmas on the 26 th. SO this means I don't have to cook this Christmas. Happy dance time.

My favorite tradition is waking up before dawn with the girls and letting them open presents and then they fall asleep as the sun comes up on christmas morning.

HI! My favorite tradition is going Black Friday shopping with my mom. We go every year...get up way too early in the morning and shop all day. But, we get our shopping done all in one day! We look forward to it every year!

We like to attend the 9 lessons and carols service at church and then return for mulled wine and mince pies, the week before Christmas.
Thanks for the candy offer.

One tradition is playing Santa, for the past 30 years I've filled my parents stockings & now my brothers to help them out, with lots of little fun things, always sox and new underwear, favourite candies, gadgets & a Christmas Orange and whatever we can find that is suitable to each person. I like the little things the most. Happy Holidays, & congrats on your hits! :)

My daughter & I enjoy going to the Nutcracker or any Christmas theatre program together during the holiday season & have been doing this for several years. Now we also enjoy taking her 5 yr. old daughter with us:) Since my mother also enjoys many of these performances too, we often have 4 generations dressing up & going to them now.

Great blog ! One of our favorite traditions is that everyone buys some small stocking stuffers for each other and on Christmas Eve we take turns opening the stocking gifts and listen to Christmas music and have cookies.

My favorite Christmas traditions: Love having the Christmas tree up, love listening to Christmas music. Something that is becoming a tradition in this season is going to Disneyland.

I my favorite tradion is going out sometime during dec. and driving around to see all the christmas lights that everyone has put up. No matter how small or big, it feels like christmas when I see the lights. Plus we did this ever since i was little and righ up before my dad died 2 yrs ago. Now my husband takes me around to see the lights. :) Plus another is opening 1 gift on christmas and saving the rest for christmas day. we just could not go to sleep until then, then it was even harder to sleep. lol.

My favorite tradition is one we started 2 yrs ago,we pick a name in a tree at Walmart of a child's name.Which lists their age and a few ideas of things they would like for xmas.Since we don't have any children,why not make a needy child happy!!
